Information We Collect
SGS Sales collects contact information — including name, phone number, email address, and business details — when you submit an enquiry through our website, contact form, or WhatsApp. If you use the SGS ordering app, we additionally collect your business name, your name and role, your mobile number (verified by a one-time SMS code), the orders you place, and — for account customers — your billing and payment history with SGS. We do not collect payment card details, bank credentials, or precise device location.
How We Use Your Information
Information you provide is used solely to respond to your commercial enquiry, prepare quotations, process and deliver your orders, maintain your account ledger, and support ongoing supply relationships. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
The SGS Ordering App
Sign-in uses a one-time SMS code — we never store a password. Order updates are sent on WhatsApp only if you opt in at signup, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Your data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) on encrypted infrastructure, transmitted over HTTPS, and access is restricted so you can only ever see your own account, orders, and ledger. Service providers we rely on: Supabase (data hosting), our SMS delivery provider (one-time codes only), and Google Play services (app distribution). You may request deletion of your app account and associated personal data at the contact below; we will action it within 30 days, subject to records we must retain for tax and accounting law.
Communication
By submitting an enquiry or initiating contact via WhatsApp, you consent to receive a response from our sales team via the channel you used. You may request to stop receiving communications at any time.
Data Retention
Enquiry and contact information is retained for the purpose of managing your supply relationship. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at the details below.

We follow reasonable security practices under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
